    $20 covers up to five of your machines. Checkout needs a free SendForge account.

    Install on each machine

    Run Install ForgeDrop.exe and approve the admin prompt. It adds the Windows Firewall rule ForgeDrop needs to receive files.

    Activate, then drop

    Enter the activation code from your account page once per machine. After that, sending on your own network never needs the internet.

Your computers, anywhere

Your own paired computers can send to each other from anywhere, not just on the same network. sendforge.app only introduces them; the files go straight across. Turn it on in Settings: "Send between my computers over the internet."

Anyone, with a code

Press "Send with a code" and share the code, like 7-orbit-maple, or its link. They type it or tap it, you see who they are and press Send, and the files go straight across. The code proves both sides, sendforge.app never sees it, and each code works once.

Every connection AES-256-GCM

A fresh X25519 key per connection, so traffic captured today cannot be decrypted by stealing a key tomorrow. The encrypted path moves data 3.7 times faster than gigabit ethernet can carry it, so the cable is the limit, not the cipher.

Every file checked

Incoming names are rebuilt from scratch before anything touches your disk, so a hostile sender cannot write outside the download folder. Files land under a temporary name and are renamed only when complete, and nothing is ever overwritten.

When they are away held for pickup

ForgeDrop sends straight to the other computer. When the person you are sending to is away, or a direct connection is not available, Cloud pickup holds the files until they collect them, and emails them at their SendForge account to say the files are waiting. Plans start at $5 monthly.

Still your control encrypted first

Every file is encrypted on your computer before it uploads, so neither we nor the cloud host can read it. Each file is deleted as soon as it's picked up, or after 8 days. Sending to someone who does not have ForgeDrop yet gives them a link to get it first, with the forms already filled in.

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. Install it on both machines. The installer asks for admin once so the firewall rule always lands; without it, the sending machine just times out with nothing on either screen saying why.

Own ForgeDrop and you get a personal link. Customers who buy through it count toward payouts by Cash App: $25 at 5 customers, $50 at 15, $60 at 25 and $175 at 50, then $175 for every 25 more. Good to know.

Only once per machine, to activate. Sending on your own network never leaves it, and a licence already activated keeps working with no connection at all, direct cable included. Sending over the internet, to your own computers or with a code, is optional, and the files still go straight across.
Cloud storage services keep your files on their servers for as long as you pay for the space. ForgeDrop sends straight to the other computer. When that is not possible, Cloud pickup holds the files encrypted, so we cannot read them, and each file is deleted as soon as it's picked up, or after 8 days.
Free the old machine's slot from your account page, then activate the new one with the same code.
Some networks block discovery: guest wifi, some offices, occasionally a direct cable. Use Add by IP address; the other machine's address is in its status bar.
ForgeDrop listens for incoming files. The prompt is what lets the installer add the Windows Firewall rule for private networks, without which Windows silently blocks every incoming transfer.
